DIRECTOR
Senior OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
ASHLEIGH CAVILL
I have a commitment to help all myclients achieve their goals through creating a safe and playful space where they can truly shine as themselves. My time in paediatrics has allowed me the opportunity to work with children with many different diagnoses and difficulties.
I enjoy building long-term relationships with children and their families and work with them to create individual plans and strategies in order to achieve a range of goals - big or small. I understand the importance of a collaborative client-centered approach and believes that “the more the merrier” when it comes to supporting my clients and strives to create a team approach.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and creating new experiences.

I completed my Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2024, with my final placement at OT for Kids Hunter. I love creating fun, engaging, and meaningful therapy sessions tailored to each child’s unique interests, strengths, and goals.
I take a client and family-centred approach to therapy, working closely with families to build skills, support independence, and celebrate progress along the way. I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where children feel confident trying new things and have fun while learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through sports and reformer Pilates, and spending time outdoors with my dog, Maggie.

I enjoy creating supportive and engaging sessions where children feel comfortable to be themselves, have fun and build confidence through meaningful, play-based experiences. I am passionate about supporting children to feel valued, seen and understood, where they can explore and challenge themselves. I take a relationship-first approach and building genuine connections is at the heart of my practice. I enjoy working collaboratively with families and all the important people in a child’s life to support each child’s individual needs and celebrate the wins together, no matter how big or small.
Outside of work I enjoy swimming at the beach (all year round!), running with my friends and spending time with my family.

As an OT, I love creating a fun, supportive and engaging environment where children can feel safe to connect and grow. I am passionate about using play to support children to build confidence and new skills in a way that feels meaningful and natural to them. Helping children discover what they are capable of is so rewarding and one of my favourite aspects of my job.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, crafts, playing with my dog and being outdoors.

Occuaptional Therapist
CLAIRE WILSON
I love working as a paediatric OT because I get to support children to learn, grow and build confidence in ways that feel fun and engaging. I enjoy bringing creativity and play into each session, creating a space where kids feel comfortable to be themselves.
What I find most rewarding is seeing progress over time. Whether it’s a small step or a big achievement, watching a child grow in confidence and ability is so special. Being able to celebrate those moments with them and their families is a big part of why I love what I do.
Outside of OT, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going on four-wheel drive adventures, and trying new coffee spots!
